Sparkling targ is very magic resistant and has a great focus spell. Starlit span is ranged, take it if you want ranged hah. Laughing shadow is very much the stab-them-in-the-back magus. But Dual Wielding in general is disincentivized in both editions because of the penalties on it, Rogues get away with it because they use light/agile weapons.
